The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to inform the people about Laylat al-Qadr, but two men from the Muslims were quarreling. The Prophet ﷺ said, "I came out to inform you, but so-and-so and so-and-so were quarreling, so it was taken away. Perhaps that is better for you. So seek it on the ninth, the seventh, and the fifth."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا بشر بن المفضل عن حميد قال قال أنس حدثني
خرج رسول الله ﷺ ليخبر الناس بليلة القدر فتلاحى رجلان من المسلمين قال النبي ﷺ خرجت لأخبركم فتلاحى فلان وفلان وإنها رفعت وعسى أن يكون خيرا لكم فالتمسوها في التاسعة والسابعة والخامسة
