Anas bin Malik reported,

The Prophet ﷺ was the most handsome of people, the most generous of people, and the most courageous of people. One night, the people of Madinah were alarmed by a sound, and they set out toward it. The Prophet ﷺ met them on his way back, having already gone ahead of everyone to investigate the sound. He was saying, "Do not be afraid, do not be afraid." He was riding a horse belonging to Abu Talha, bareback with no saddle, and a sword was slung around his neck. He said, "I found him to be like a sea," or, "Indeed he is a sea."
