Miswar bin Makhrama reported,

He said to me, "My son, I have been told that some robes have been brought to the Prophet ﷺ and he is distributing them. Let us go to him."So we went and found the Prophet ﷺ at his house.He said to me, "My son, call the Prophet ﷺ for me."I found this difficult, so I said, "Shall I call the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for you?"He said, "My son, he is not a tyrant."So I called him, and he came out wearing a robe of brocade fastened with gold buttons. He said, "Makhramah, we set this aside for you," and he gave it to him.

وقال الليث حدثني ابن أبي مليكة،

عن المسور بن مخرمة، أن أباه، مخرمة قال

له يا بنى إنه بلغني أن النبي ﷺ قدمت عليه أقبية فهو يقسمها، فاذهب بنا إليه، فذهبنا فوجدنا النبي ﷺ في منزله، فقال لي يا بنى ادع لي النبي ﷺ فأعظمت ذلك. فقلت أدعو لك رسول الله ﷺ فقال يا بنى إنه ليس بجبار. فدعوته فخرج وعليه قباء من ديباج مزرر بالذهب، فقال يا مخرمة هذا خبأناه لك. فأعطاه إياه.
