Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ used to set apart a section with a mat at night to pray upon it, and during the day he would spread it out and sit on it. People began gathering around the Prophet ﷺ and praying along with his prayer, until they grew many in number. So he turned to them and said, "People, take on only as much of the religious works as you can sustain, for Allah does not tire until you tire. The works most beloved to Allah are those done consistently, even if they are few."
