Muhammad bin Amr reported,

He is Ibn Hasan bin Ali. He said, we asked Jabir bin Abdullah about the prayer of the Prophet ﷺ, and he replied, "He used to pray Dhuhr at midday when the sun was at its peak, Asr while the sun was still bright and lively, Maghrib as soon as the sun had set, Isha early when many people had gathered and later when they were few, and Fajr in the darkness before dawn."
