The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not prepare nabidh in gourds or in vessels coated with pitch."Abu Hurairah used to add to these the green jar and the hollowed stump.
وعن الزهري قال حدثني
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تنتبذوا في الدباء ولا في المزفت وكان أبو هريرة يلحق معها الحنتم والنقير
