Abu Burda slaughtered before the prayer, so the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Offer another sacrifice in its place."He replied, "I have nothing but a young goat."Shuba said, I think he said, "It is better than a fully grown one."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Offer it in place of the other, but it will not suffice for anyone after you."Hatim bin Wardan reported from Ayub, from Muhammad, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "a young she-goat."

ذبح أبو بردة قبل الصلاة فقال له النبي ﷺ أبدلها قال ليس عندي إلا جذعة قال شعبة وأحسبه قال هي خير من مسنة قال اجعلها مكانها ولن تجزي عن أحد بعدك وقال حاتم بن وردان عن أيوب عن محمد عن أنس عن النبي ﷺ وقال عناق جذعة
