We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey when the caller to prayer wanted to make the call for the noon prayer. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wait until it cools."Then he wanted to make the call again, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Wait until it cools."He kept waiting until we saw the shadows stretching from the hillocks. Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "The intensity of the heat comes from the blast of Hell. So when the heat grows intense, delay the prayer until it cools."Ibn Abbas said that "tatafayya-u" means they lean and shift.
