Saeed bin Jubayr reported,

I asked Ibn Umar about the hadith of the Mutalaineen, and he said that the Prophet ﷺ said to the Mutalaineen, "Your reckoning is with Allah. One of you is lying. You have no way over her."The man said, "What about my wealth?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "You have no claim to wealth. If you spoke the truth about her, it is in exchange for what you made lawful of her private parts, and if you lied about her, then it is even further removed from you."Sufyan said, "I memorized this from Amr."Ayub said, "I heard Saeed bin Jubayr say, 'I said to Ibn Umar, what about a man who performs lian against his wife?' He gestured with his two fingers." Sufyan separated his two fingers, the index and the middle, and said, "The Prophet ﷺ separated the two brothers from Banu Ajlan and said, 'Allah knows that one of you is lying. Will either of you repent?' three times."Sufyan said, "I memorized it from Amr and Ayub just as I have informed you."
