Ayesha reported,

During the illness from which he died, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ kept asking, "Where will I be tomorrow? Where will I be tomorrow?" He meant the day of Ayesha. So his wives gave him permission to be wherever he wished, and he stayed in Ayesha's house until he died there.Ayesha said, "He died on the day that was my turn, in my house. Allah took his soul while his head was between my throat and my chest, and his saliva mingled with mine."
