Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the afternoon prayer, he would visit his wives and spend time close to one of them. On one occasion he went in to Hafsah and stayed longer than he usually did.
حدثنا فروة حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن هشام عن أبيه
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا انصرف من العصر دخل على نسائه فيدنو من إحداهن فدخل على حفصة فاحتبس أكثر مما كان يحتبس
