Urwa bin Zubayr reported,

Ayesha commented on the verse "And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphan girls" [Nisa 4:3], saying, "This concerns an orphan girl who is under a man's care and he is her guardian. He marries her for the sake of her wealth, treats her badly as a companion, and does not deal fairly with her property. Such a man should instead marry from among other women whoever is agreeable to him, two, three, or four."
