Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases. A man whom Allah has taught the Quran, so he recites it through the hours of the night and the hours of the day, and a neighbor of his hears him and says, 'If only I had been given the like of what so-and-so was given, so I could do as he does.' And a man whom Allah has given wealth, and he spends it in the cause of truth, so another man says, 'If only I had been given the like of what so-and-so was given, so I could do as he does.'"
