Talha reported,

I asked Abdullah bin Abu Awfa, "Did the Prophet ﷺ make a will?"He replied, "No."I said, "How is it that making a will was prescribed for people, they were commanded to do it, yet he did not make one?"He answered, "He bequeathed the Book of Allah."
