I learned the paired surahs that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite, two together in each rakah. Abdullah then stood up and Alqama went in with him. When Alqama came out, we asked him about it, and he said, "Twenty surahs from the beginning of the Mufassal section according to the arrangement of Ibn Masud, the last of which are the Hawamim, namely Ha-Mim al-Dukhan and Amma Yatasaalun."
حدثنا عبدان عن أبي حمزة عن الأعمش عن شقيق قال قال
لقد تعلمت النظائر التي كان النبي ﷺ يقرؤهن اثنين اثنين في كل ركعة فقام عبد الله ودخل معه علقمة وخرج علقمة فسألناه فقال عشرون سورة من أول المفصل على تأليف ابن مسعود آخرهن الحواميم حم الدخان وعم يتساءلون
