Whenever revelation came down to the Prophet ﷺ, he would move his tongue with it. Sufyan demonstrated this, indicating that he was trying to memorize it. So Allah revealed, "Do not move your tongue with it to hasten with it" [Qiyamah 75:16].
حدثنا الحميدي حدثنا سفيان حدثنا موسى بن أبي عائشة وكان ثقة عن سعيد بن جبير
كان النبي ﷺ إذا نزل عليه الوحي حرك به لسانه ووصف سفيان يريد أن يحفظه فأنزل الله {لا تحرك به لسانك لتعجل به}
