The Prophet ﷺ said, "Praying in congregation is twenty-five degrees superior to a person's prayer in his house or in his marketplace. When one of you performs ablution well and then heads to the mosque intending nothing but the prayer, he does not take a single step without Allah raising him by it one degree and removing one of his sins, until he enters the mosque. Once he enters the mosque, he is considered to be in prayer for as long as the prayer is what keeps him there. The angels continue to send blessings upon him as long as he remains in the spot where he prayed, saying, 'O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy on him,' so long as he does not break his ablution there."
