Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever Allah has given wealth and does not pay its zakat, his wealth will be made to appear to him on the Day of Resurrection as a bald-headed venomous snake with two black spots over its eyes. It will encircle his neck and seize him by the corners of his mouth, saying, 'I am your wealth, I am your treasure.'"Then he recited this verse, "And let not those who withhold what Allah has given them of His bounty think it is good for them" [Al Imran 3:180], to the end of the verse.
