Nafi reported,

Ibn Umar رضي الله عنهم, whenever he read the Quran, would not speak until he finished it. One day I was reading along with him, and he recited Surah al-Baqarah until he reached a certain place, where he said, "Do you know what this was revealed about?"I said, "No."He said, "It was revealed about such and such," then he continued.
