Umar bin Abdul-Aziz consulted the people one day and asked, "What do you say about this oath sworn in cases of bloodshed?"They replied, "It is valid. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave judgment by it, and the caliphs before you gave judgment by it as well."Abu Qilaba was seated behind his couch.Anbasa bin Saeed said, "But what about the hadith of Anas concerning the men of Urayna?"Abu Qilaba said, "It was to me that Anas bin Malik related it."Abdul-Aziz bin Suhayb said, narrating from Anas, that they were from Urayna, while Abu Qilaba said, narrating from Anas, that they were from Ukl, and he recounted the story.
