I once began to insult Hassan in the presence of Ayesha, but she said, "Do not insult him, for he used to defend the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Ayesha also said that Hassan asked the Prophet ﷺ for permission to satirize the polytheists.The Prophet ﷺ said, "What about my lineage among them?"Hassan replied, "I will pull you out from among them as a hair is pulled from dough."Muhammad bin Uqba narrated to us, Uthman bin Farqad narrated to us, I heard Hisham report from his father, who said, "I insulted Hassan, for he was among those who spoke much against her."
