People, listen carefully to what I tell you, and let me hear what you say. Do not go off saying, "Ibn Abbas said, Ibn Abbas said." Whoever circumambulates the House must do so from beyond the Hijr. And do not call it al-Hatim, for in the days of ignorance a man would take an oath there and cast down his whip, his sandal, or his bow.
