Abdullah bin Masud was mentioned in the presence of Abdullah bin Umar, who said, "That is a man I will never cease to love. I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, 'Take the Quran from four people, from Abdullah bin Masud,'" beginning with him, "'Salim the freed slave of Abu Huzaifa, Muaz bin Jabal, and Ubayy bin Kaab.'"
