The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of the houses of the Ansar are Banu Najjar, then Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then Banu Harith bin Khazraj, then Banu Saidah, and in every house of the Ansar there is good."Saad bin Ubada, who was one of those with early standing in Islam, said, "I see that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has given preference to others over us."It was said to him, "He has given you preference over many people."
حدثنا إسحاق حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا شعبة حدثنا قتادة قال سمعت أنس بن مالك رضي الله عنه قال
رسول الله ﷺ خير دور الأنصار بنو النجار ثم بنو عبد الأشهل ثم بنو الحارث بن الخزرج ثم بنو ساعدة وفي كل دور الأنصار خير فقال سعد بن عبادة وكان ذا قدم في الإسلام أرى رسول الله ﷺ قد فضل علينا فقيل له قد فضلكم على ناس كثير
