Abdullah bin Umar reported,

During the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ, whenever a man had a dream he would relate it to the Prophet ﷺ. I wished that I too might see a dream and tell it to the Prophet ﷺ. I was then a young, unmarried man, and I used to sleep in the mosque during the time of the Prophet ﷺ.I saw in a dream as though two angels had taken hold of me and carried me to the Fire. It was built like the lining of a well, with two side-posts like the posts of a well, and inside it were people I recognized. I began to say, "I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire. I seek refuge with Allah from the Fire."Then another angel met them and said to me, "You have nothing to fear."I related the dream to Hafsah.

حدثنا إسحاق بن نصر حدثنا عبد الرزاق عن معمر عن الزهري عن سالم

عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال

كان الرجل في حياة النبي ﷺ إذا رأى رؤيا قصها على النبي ﷺ فتمنيت أن أرى رؤيا أقصها على النبي ﷺ وكنت غلاما شابا أعزب وكنت أنام في المسجد على عهد النبي ﷺ فرأيت في المنام كأن ملكين أخذاني فذهبا بي إلى النار فإذا هي مطوية كطي البئر وإذا لها قرنان كقرني البئر وإذا فيها ناس قد عرفتهم فجعلت أقول أعوذ بالله من النار أعوذ بالله من النار فلقيهما ملك آخر فقال لي لن تراع فقصصتها على حفصة
