Abu Bakr reported,

The people had been given guidance and made to recognize the truth that was upon them, and they went out reciting, "Muhammad is no more than a messenger. Many were the messengers that passed away before him... to the grateful" [Al Imran 3:144].

الناس الهدى وعرفهم الحق الذي عليهم وخرجوا به يتلون {وما محمد إلا رسول قد خلت من قبله الرسل إلى الشاكرين}
