Ayesha reported,

The Prophet's ﷺ gaze became fixed, then he said three times, "With the highest companion," and the narrator recounted the rest of the hadith. She said, "There was no speech among their two speeches except that Allah brought benefit through it. Umar struck fear into the people, and there was indeed hypocrisy among some of them, so Allah turned them back through that."
