The Prophet ﷺ visited an Arabi to check on him during his illness. Whenever the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would say, "No harm, it is a purification, Allah willing." So he said to him, "No harm, it is a purification, Allah willing."The man replied, "Purification? No indeed. Rather, it is a fever raging within an old man, driving him to the grave."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then so be it."

أن النبي ﷺ دخل على أعرابي يعوده قال وكان النبي ﷺ إذا دخل على مريض يعوده قال لا بأس طهور إن شاء الله فقال له لا بأس طهور إن شاء الله قال قلت طهور كلا بل هي حمى تفور أو تثور على شيخ كبير تزيره القبور فقال النبي ﷺ فنعم إذا
