Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The people grew thirsty on the day of Hudaybiyyah while the Prophet ﷺ had a small water vessel before him. He performed ablution from it, and the people rushed toward him.He asked, "What is the matter with you?"They replied, "We have no water to make ablution with or to drink except what is before you."So he placed his hand in the vessel, and the water began to gush forth from between his fingers like springs. We drank and made ablution.I asked, "How many were you?"He answered, "Had we been a hundred thousand, it would have sufficed us. We were fifteen hundred."
