When the verse "Those who believe and do not mix their faith with wrongdoing" [Anam 6:82] was revealed, the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, "Which of us has not mixed his faith with wrongdoing?" Then the verse was revealed, "Do not associate anything with Allah. Indeed, association with Him is a great wrongdoing" [Luqman 31:13].

لما نزلت {الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم} قال أصحاب النبي ﷺ أينا لم يلبس إيمانه بظلم فنزلت {لا تشرك بالله إن الشرك لظلم عظيم}
