Abu Hurairah reported,

How will you be when you collect neither a Dinar nor a dirham?Someone asked him, "How do you see that coming about, Abu Hurairah?"He replied, "Yes, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurairah, this comes from the words of the truthful and trusted one."They asked, "What will bring that about?"He said, "The covenant of Allah and the covenant of His Messenger ﷺ will be violated, so Allah will harden the hearts of the protected non-Muslims, and they will withhold what is in their possession."

قال أبو موسى حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم حدثنا إسحاق بن سعيد عن أبيه

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال

كيف أنتم إذا لم تجتبوا دينارا ولا درهما فقيل له وكيف ترى ذلك كائنا يا أبا هريرة قال إي والذي نفس أبي هريرة بيده عن قول الصادق المصدوق قالوا عم ذاك قال تنتهك ذمة الله وذمة رسوله ﷺ فيشد الله عز وجل قلوب أهل الذمة فيمنعون ما في أيديهم
