I entered into ihram with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Farewell Pilgrimage. I was among those who performed tamattu and did not bring along a sacrificial animal.She mentioned that she began menstruating and had not become pure by the time the night of Arafah arrived. She said, "Messenger of Allah, this is the night of Arafah, and I had only intended tamattu with an Umrah."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Undo your hair, comb it, and set aside your Umrah."So I did. Then, when I had completed the Hajj, he instructed Abdul-Rahman on the night of Hasbah to take me to perform an Umrah from Tanim in place of the Umrah I had set aside.
