On the day of Uhud, the people fled from the Prophet ﷺ. Anas said, "I saw Ayesha Bint Abu Bakr and Umm Sulaym with their garments tucked up so that I could see the anklets on their legs. They were carrying waterskins on their backs." Another narrator said, "They were transporting the waterskins on their backs, then emptying them into the mouths of the men, then returning to refill them, then coming back to empty them into the mouths of the men once more."

لما كان يوم أحد انهزم الناس عن النبي ﷺ قال ولقد رأيت عائشة بنت أبي بكر وأم سليم وإنهما لمشمرتان أرى خدم سوقهما تنقزان القرب وقال غيره تنقلان القرب على متونهما ثم تفرغانه في أفواه القوم ثم ترجعان فتملآنها ثم تجيئان فتفرغانها في أفواه القوم
