My mother asked my father to grant me a gift from his property. He decided to do so and gave it to me, but she said, "I will not be satisfied until you have the Prophet ﷺ witness it."So he took me by the hand, as I was still a boy, and brought me to the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "His mother, the daughter of Rawahah, asked me to give this child a gift."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you have other children besides him?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ then said, as I recall, "Do not call me to witness an injustice."Abu Hurayz reported from Shaybi the wording, "I will not bear witness to an injustice."

سألت أمي أبي بعض الموهبة لي من ماله ثم بدا له فوهبها لي فقالت لا أرضى حتى تشهد النبي ﷺ فأخذ بيدي وأنا غلام فأتى بي النبي ﷺ فقال إن أمه بنت رواحة سألتني بعض الموهبة لهذا قال ألك ولد سواه قال نعم قال فأراه قال لا تشهدني على جور وقال أبو حريز عن الشعبي لا أشهد على جور
