The wife of Rifa Qurazi came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I was married to Rifa, and he divorced me with a final, irrevocable divorce. Then I married Abdul-Rahman bin Zubayr, but all he has is like the fringe of a garment."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you wish to return to Rifa? No, not until you taste his sweetness and he tastes yours."Abu Bakr was sitting with him, and Khalid bin Saeed bin al-As was at the door waiting for permission to enter.Khalid called out, "Abu Bakr, do you not hear what this woman is saying openly in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ?"

جاءت امرأة رفاعة القرظي النبي ﷺ فقالت كنت عند رفاعة فطلقني فأبت طلاقي فتزوجت عبد الرحمن بن الزبير إنما معه مثل هدبة الثوب فقال أتريدين أن ترجعي إلى رفاعة لا حتى تذوقي عسيلته ويذوق عسيلتك وأبو بكر جالس عنده وخالد بن سعيد بن العاص بالباب ينتظر أن يؤذن له فقال يا أبا بكر ألا تسمع إلى هذه ما تجهر به عند النبي ﷺ
