Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, freed a slave-girl of hers. He said to her, "Had you given her instead to one of your maternal uncles, your reward would have been greater."
وقال بكر عن عمرو، عن بكير،
إن ميمونة زوج النبي ﷺ أعتقت وليدة لها فقال لها ولو وصلت بعض أخوالك كان أعظم لأجرك.
