Ayesha reported,

Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to set out on a journey, he would draw lots among his wives, and whichever one's lot came out, he would take her along with him. He used to allot to each of his wives her day and her night, except that Sawda bint Zama gave up her day and her night to Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, seeking by that the pleasure of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
