The Prophet ﷺ intended to grant some land in Bahrain as a fief.The Ansar said, "Not until you grant our brothers among the Muhajirun the same as you grant us."He replied, "After me you will see others preferred over you, so be patient until you meet me."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن يحيى بن سعيد قال سمعت
أراد النبي ﷺ أن يقطع من البحرين فقالت الأنصار حتى تقطع لإخواننا من المهاجرين مثل الذي تقطع لنا قال سترون بعدي أثرة فاصبروا حتى تلقوني
