The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited muzabanah. Muzabanah is the purchase of fresh dates on the tree in exchange for dried dates by measure, and the sale of grapes on the vine in exchange for raisins by measure.

أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن المزابنة والمزابنة اشتراء الثمر بالتمر كيلا وبيع الكرم بالزبيب كيلا
