The Messenger of Allah ﷺ later permitted the sale of the araya by estimating the fresh dates on the tree against an equivalent amount of fresh or dried dates, but he did not permit it in anything else.
قال سالم وأخبرني عبد الله
أن رسول الله ﷺ رخص بعد ذلك في بيع العرية بالرطب أو بالتمر ولم يرخص في غيره
