A man had freed a slave of his to take effect after his death, but then he fell into need. The Prophet ﷺ took the slave and asked, "Who will buy him from me?" Naeem bin Abdullah bought him for such-and-such a price, and the Prophet handed him over to him.
حدثنا بشر بن محمد أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا الحسين المكتب عن عطاء بن أبي رباح
أن رجلا أعتق غلاما له عن دبر فاحتاج فأخذه النبي ﷺ فقال من يشتريه مني فاشتراه نعيم بن عبد الله بكذا وكذا فدفعه إليه
