There was a man here named Nawwas who had thirsty camels suffering from a chronic illness. Ibn Umar went and bought those camels from his business partner. The partner came to him and asked, "To whom did you sell those camels?"He replied, "To an old man of such-and-such description."The partner exclaimed, "Woe to you! By Allah, that was Ibn Umar."So he went to Ibn Umar and said, "My partner sold you diseased camels without you recognizing what they were."Ibn Umar said, "Then take them back."When the man went to drive them away, Ibn Umar said, "Leave them. We are content with the ruling of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, there is no contagion."Sufyan heard this from Amr.
