Suwayd bin Numan reported,

He reported that he set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of Khaybar. When they reached al-Sahba, which is near Khaybar, he prayed the afternoon prayer, then called for the provisions. Nothing was brought except parched barley flour, so he ordered that it be moistened. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate, and we ate with him. Then he rose for the sunset prayer, rinsed his mouth, and we rinsed our mouths as well. Then he prayed without performing ablution.
