Ziyad bin Jubayr reported,

A man came to Ibn Umar and said, "A man vowed to fast on a certain day," and I think he said it was Monday, "and that day happened to coincide with a day of Eid."Ibn Umar replied, "Allah has commanded the fulfillment of vows, and the Prophet ﷺ forbade fasting on this day."

عن زياد بن جبير قال

جاء رجل إلى ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما فقال رجل نذر أن يصوم يوما قال أظنه قال الاثنين فوافق ذلك يوم عيد فقال ابن عمر أمر الله بوفاء النذر ونهى النبي ﷺ عن صوم هذا اليوم
