Bilal used to call the adhan at night, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum calls the adhan, for he does not call it until dawn breaks."Qasim said, "There was no time between their two adhans except for one to descend and the other to ascend."
حدثنا عبيد بن إسماعيل عن أبي أسامة عن عبيد الله عن نافع عن ابن عمر والقاسم بن محمد
أن بلالا كان يؤذن بليل فقال رسول الله ﷺ كلوا واشربوا حتى يؤذن ابن أم مكتوم فإنه لا يؤذن حتى يطلع الفجر قال القاسم ولم يكن بين أذانهما إلا أن يرقى ذا وينزل ذا
