Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out for Mecca, he would pray at the Mosque of the Tree, and on his return he would pray at Dhul-Hulayfah in the bottom of the valley and spend the night there until morning.

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا خرج إلى مكة يصلي في مسجد الشجرة وإذا رجع صلى بذي الحليفة ببطن الوادي وبات حتى يصبح
He also reported the hadith of Husayn, from Habib bin Abu Thabit, from Muhammad bin Ali, from his father, and there are seven different statements regarding Habib in it.
Hafiz said in Fath al-Bari, vol. 2, p. 484:"None of those who mentioned the number went beyond thirteen or below eleven, except that in the narration of Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas found in Muslim there is something that contradicts them. In it, he prayed two rakahs, prolonging them, then he left and slept until he snored. He did that three times, making six rakahs, each time using the tooth-stick, performing wudu, and reciting these verses, meaning the end of Al Imran. Then he prayed odd-numbered prayer of three rakahs, and the caller made the call, so he went out to the prayer."That is the end of the quote. He added to what the other narrators mentioned by repeating the wudu, and he reduced from them by two or four rakahs, and he also did not mention the two rakahs of Fajr. I think this comes from the narrator from him, Habib bin Abu Thabit, for there is criticism concerning him, and there is disagreement about him regarding both the chain and the text of the narration, some of which has already been mentioned.
