Asma bint Abu Bakr reported,

She stopped for the night at Muzdalifa during the gathering and stood to pray. She prayed for a while, then asked, "My son, has the moon set?"I replied, "No."She prayed for another while and then asked again, "My son, has the moon set?"I said, "Yes."She said, "Then let us depart."So we set out and continued on until she stoned the Jamrah. Then she returned and prayed the dawn prayer at her lodging.I said to her, "Dear lady, I think we have prayed while it was still quite dark."She replied, "My son, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave permission to the women to leave early."
