The Prophet ﷺ, when he performed the first circumambulation of the Kabah, would jog briskly during three rounds and walk during the remaining four. When he traversed between Safa and Marwa, he would run swiftly through the bottom of the valley.

أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا طاف بالبيت الطواف الأول يخب ثلاثة أطواف ويمشي أربعة وأنه كان يسعى بطن المسيل إذا طاف بين الصفا والمروة
