Nasr bin Imran reported,

I performed tamattu, but some people forbade me from doing so, so I asked Ibn Abbas about it and he instructed me to proceed. Then I saw in a dream as though a man was saying to me, "An accepted Hajj and an accepted Umra."I told Ibn Abbas about it, and he said, "It is the practice of the Prophet ﷺ."He then said to me, "Stay with me, and I will assign you a share of my wealth."Shuba said, I asked, "Why?"He replied, "Because of the dream you saw."
