A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, what clothing should a person in the state of ihram wear?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "He must not wear shirts, turbans, trousers, hooded cloaks, or leather socks, unless he cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but must cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by saffron or wars dye."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف أخبرنا مالك عن نافع
أن رجلا قال يا رسول الله ما يلبس المحرم من الثياب قال رسول الله ﷺ لا يلبس القمص ولا العمائم ولا السراويلات ولا البرانس ولا الخفاف إلا أحد لا يجد نعلين فليلبس خفين وليقطعهما أسفل من الكعبين ولا تلبسوا من الثياب شيئا مسه الزعفران أو ورس
